Come and see for your self and take a tour with  Dianne's Venture Tours

Release your inner child and play to your heart's content on this family fun day tour of Phillip Island's top attractions.

While not essential to travel with children this tour is aimed at "the kid within" all of us! Children aged between conception and 103 years old are welcome. In fact, any grown-ups that know how to have fun are welcome with or without children.

Visiting some of the bigger attractions on Phillip Island you must expect some crowds. We do our best to time the tour to avoid the mega busses but holiday periods are always busy. Fortunately these attractions are well worth visiting so let us deliver a fun play-day for you and your friends.

Tour begins from Phillip Island.

Timing:

The tour starts from Phillip Island 11.00am and concludes after the penguin parade, which in summer can be close to 10.30pm.

Conditions:

For your safety and comfort flat, covered-in shoes are recommended on this tour. Ear loose fitting clothing and bring layers to protect from the sun and the cold evenings that can be part of the Phillip island experience. Think about packing yourself some healthy snacks to keep your energy up and prevent a passible sugar overload from the Chocolate Factory goodies. A dinner break will be provided to enable you to explore the cafes and restaurants in Cowes prior to the penguin parade if timing permits.

General Questions:

  1. Is there are minimum age requirement?
There is no minimum age requirement but there is a requirement to have fun so if you are intent on complaining and having a bad day this tour is not for you. Children of all ages and stages (including adult children) will enjoy this tour.

  2. What sort of clothing should I wear?
For your safety and comfort flat, covered-in shoes are recommended on this tour. Also recommended are loose fitting clothes to enable you to participate in all the fun and playful activities on offer – don’t let the kids have all the fun! It is ideal to wear layers as it can get hot and cold in the same day. We have heard it said “Phillip Island can have four seasons in four hours”.

  3. What happens if the weather is bad?
If it rains you might get wet. If it is cold you might get cold. If it is hot you might get hot. Dress appropriately. Some activities are inside and in air conditioned surroundings, others are outdoors. We will do our best to time outdoor activities between ‘weather events’ and in extreme cases we may substitute activities for the comfort of our guests.

  4. How do I get to Phillip Island? I do not pick up and return to Melbourne. You need to either use a car, the Vline bus or the passenger ferry to get to Phillip Island. Call or email to enquire. Alternatively you can view www.diannesventureyours.com.au/getting-here for more information. Please be aware that public transport options require you to stay overnight on Phillip Island. Public transport does not coincide with the closure of the Penguin Parade. If you wish to stay overnight on Phillip Island we can make recommendations so call or email us – or do your own web searching. There is a multitude of options from five-star to back-packer styles.
