Phillip Island is the destination. the Nature Parks are the multimillion-dollar, world renowned natural attraction. this is the tour to experience, in-depth all that is the Phillip Island Natural Parks. Converse with a knowledgeable resident guide and have all the questions answered.

The Phillip Island Nature Parks covers a multiple large land masses and so we will make every effort to avoid crowds as we explore some of the less frequented spots at times least likely to run into other tours. This is the value of touring with a local guide! The Penguin Parade is always busy especially in summer. Be aware that over 3000 people visit per day in peak seasons so it can be a bit hectic. We will take you to lesser known spots to get the understanding of the little penguin and its life cycle prior to visiting the Parade.

The tour starts from Phillip Island 11.00am and concludes after the penguin parade, which in summer can be close to 10.30pm for locals for Melbourne visitors around 12.30am. For Melbourne pick ups, the tour departs Melbourne at 9.00am.

Conditions: For your safety and comfort flat, covered-in shoes are recommended on this tour. Bring layers of clothing for heat and cold as the weather can be changeable on the Island (surrounded by a lot of ocean!). The Phillip Island Nature Parks are a natural attraction and therefore we take no responsibility for the volume of penguins, koalas, wallabies and other native animals that are able to be viewed in their natural environment.

Lunch is at a local cafe and guest will have free time to explore the cafes and restaurants in the area to purchase dinner prior to the Penguin Parade

General Questions:

  1. Is there are minimum age requirement?
There is no minimum age but we do not offer child fares so every passenger is considered an adult. For family charters that include child rates please email or call us. We are happy to work with you and your friends and family to structure the perfect tour

  2. What sort of clothing should I wear?
Phillip Island has been said to have “four seasons in four hours” but sometimes you may experience all of these seasons in an hour so come prepared for a cooler climate. It is easier to take off layers than be cold. Remember where there are seals and penguins it can get cold! Even in summer. Wear loose clothing to be comfortable and wear flat covered in shoes so you will enjoy walking in nature.

  3. What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather is bad you will experience it – hot and cold, wet and dry. This tour is all about getting close to nature. We will do our best to visit sheltered areas (the value of a local guide) and utilise the indoor areas at the Parks if desired, but come dressed for getting into nature

  4. How do I get to Phillip Island?
We can collect you from and return you to Melbourne if you book as a group of four or more people. Alternatively view for more information. Please be aware that public transport options require you to stay overnight on Phillip Island. Public transport does not coincide with the closure of the Penguin Parade. If you wish to stay overnight on Phillip Island we can make recommendations so call or email us – or do your own web searching. There is a multitude of options from five-star to back-packer styles.
