COVID - 19 UPDATES
Due to the Victorian Government COVID-19 restrictions, we are not taking any tours at this stage or bookings until Mid September, 2020. This date all depends on the restrictions applied by the Victorian Government. We will take future bookings, but please contact us, and we can assist you where possible.
When our tours start up again, we do require all customers to follow the Government health guidelines and please do not participate in any public activities if you are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms. If you are unsure of what may be a symptom of COVID-19, you can self-assess using the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) online tool by clicking here.
Q.1: Are we currently operating?
A: We are not operating any tours at the moment. We envisage opening up again for tours and taking bookings from Mid September, 2020. However this depends on the Victorian and Federal Government restrictions.
Q.2: What is Dianne's Venture Tours doing to keep the customers and staff safe?
A: - Our Toyota Hiac Bus and SUV are completly cleaned and sanitised after each tour.
- Each customer is provided with hand sanitiser disinfectant wipes and masks and gloves are available if required.
- Each customer is to provide their name and contact details at the start of the tour, before boarding the vehicle. This helps with contact tracing should it be required.
Q.3: How many customers can we have in one tour?
A: To assit with social distancing with the driver and customers, the front seat will not be available and will not be used. All customers are to be seated in the rear of the vehicles.
Toyota Hiace Bus - instead of 11 seats there will only be available 6 seats in the rear and with the SUV, 3 seats will be reduced to 2 seats in the rear.
We are only operating with pre booked small groups only and not taking any public tours, to help minimise the spread of transmission to unknown parties.
Q.4: What is open on Phillip Island?
A: As from 11:59pm on Wednesday, regional Victoria will return to Stage 3 “Stay at Home” restrictions.
That means there’ll again only be four reasons to be out: shopping for food and essential items. Care and caregiving. Daily exercise. Work and study – if you can’t do it from home.
Otherwise, you need to stay home.
Businesses in regional Victoria will also return to Stage 3 restrictions.
That means restaurants and cafes can only offer delivery and takeaway. Beauty and personal services will need to close. Entertainment and cultural venues will need to close. Community sport will need to stop.
Face coverings will continue to be compulsory – ensuring that if we do have to be out, it’s in the safest way possible.
Q.5: What happens to your payment if you need to cancel due to the COVID-19 restrictions
A: We are being very flexible in these challenging and difficult times. Up until Mid September, 2020 any enquiries or bookings made for tours will not be charged any deposit. Until all restrictions are off , communication will be made to update the customer when tours will be resuming.
As soon as the retrictions are lifted and tours are able to be conducted, then a 50% deposit is required and the normal payments are required. Please read the terms & conditions.
