Due to the Victorian Government COVID-19 restrictions, we are not able to take tour bookings. We can take tour enquiries only at the moment. Once our tours resume you we will require all customers to follow the Government health guidelines and please do not participate in any public activities if you are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms. If you are unsure of what may be a symptom of COVID-19, you can self-assess using the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) online tool by clicking here.
Q.1: Are we currently operating?
A: We are not able to take any tour bookings. When we can take boookings in teh future will all depend on the Victorian and Federal Government restrictions.
Q.2: What is Dianne's Venture Tours doing to keep the customers and staff safe?
A: - Our Toyota Hiac Bus and SUV are completly cleaned and sanitised after each tour.
- Each customer is provided with hand sanitiser disinfectant wipes and masks and gloves are available if required.
- Each customer is to provide their name and contact details at the start of the tour, before boarding the vehicle. This helps with contact tracing should it be required.
Q.3: How many customers can we have in one tour?
A: To assit with social distancing with the driver and customers, the front seat will not be available and will not be used. All customers are to be seated in the rear of the vehicles.
Toyota Hiace Bus - instead of 11 seats there will only be available 6 seats in the rear and with the SUV, 3 seats will be reduced to 2 seats in the rear.
We are only operating with pre booked small groups only and not taking any public tours, to help minimise the spread of transmission to unknown parties.
Q.4: What is open on Phillip Island?
A: As from September 17, 2020, regional Victoria will progress to the Third Step of the Government's reopening roadmap.
The four reasons to leave your house will no longer apply.
Businesses in regional Victoria will be open.
That means restaurants and cafes are open for seating outside, limited numbers inside, takeaway and deliveries.
Face coverings will continue to be compulsory – ensuring that if we do have to be out, it’s in the safest way possible.
Q.5: What happens to your payment if you need to cancel due to the COVID-19 restrictions
A: We are being very flexible in these challenging and difficult times. Until all restrictions are off , communication will be made to update the customer when tours will be available.
As soon as the retrictions are lifted and tours are able to be conducted, then a 50% deposit is required and the normal payments are required. Please read the terms & conditions.
